Thanks you for being here for me when I was having a massively shit time. I was getting lost in my stress - yes it was showing up for my horses - but mainly my people-pleasing was totally out of control so I had no boundaries with my horses OR with people in general. It was super useful using the horsemanship and horse examples in our personal development workto draw parraelles and speed up my learning. Life is so much better now.

My horse was started really badly by a so-called professional. When he came back I got bucked off and lost my confidence. In my head all I could imagine was lying on the floor next to my horse, and all I could hear was a voice saying - I'm not good enough to do this. Rachel got me from here to understanding what was happening in my head, how to use online subscriptions of horsemanship to plan better, we used videos sent on whatsapp to communicate horsey stuff, and she worked on my brain with creative mind and body exercises. It was super useful and I even stopped crying when going to the horses! Now I'm working through a groundwork programe, using play with my horse to develop more skills, and I'm going to the Dragons courses in Wales to skill-up. We did online sessions each week for 8 weeks and my confidence is strong, and I feel this in my life generally too. I'm hoping to ride again in March when the weather is better.

I enjoyed all of it, when you came to mine it was great that I wasn't expected to have 5 star facilities and we could just work with what we had.

I'm so very grateful for your support and still slightly surprised about my extreme reaction- didn’t expect that one! I wouldn’t say throwing up over my Unicorn’s shoulder was brave on my part!

The one to one, how Rachel took the time to demonstrate, was there on hand to assist and is always available for a message when things are going wrong at home.

Delighted that Rachel is offering her expertise to help horses and owners; far enough away not to affect my little horse training business! With practical experience gleaned from many parts of the world, combined with her knowledge of NLP, Rachel can effectively problem solve by speaking the horses language, and translate this into a goal with logical training steps to follow. I always love having Rach to visit, to swap training tips and ideas, and I have no hesitation recommending her to anyone looking for help with their steed.

I’ve owned and ridden horses nearly all of my life - but in august I bought my first youngster! Thor the 3yrold Cob. I hadn’t backed/started a young horse before, and a few months in I found myself abit stuck. He had a bit of a mood swing. I was nervous around him, scared to be in control and to be honest, felt a bit out of my depth. So I called Rachel! Rachel couldn’t have been happier to help, she was so friendly and understanding. Our first session was assessing his behaviour and working in harmony with him, setting boundaries, and trying our first join up. 2 weeks later Rachel returned, and we stepped up our ground work. Working with Thor, who by the end wanted to please! I couldn’t have asked for better help. Rachel has an amazing understanding of horses. she has a kind, calm and gentle approach to teaching. I feel so confident around Thor now. Our relationship has changed so much and we now have a really strong bond. Rachel really helped me understand him, I’m so grateful for her help and look forward to more sessions with Rachel as i start to get on board!

Rachel is my ā€˜go to’ for anything horsey. When my daughter lost the love for riding, she met Rachel’s pony and fell in love. Rachel’s approach gave my daughter the confidence to jump back on. Rachel has been calm, knowledgeable and kind in her approach with both horse & rider. Rachel respects her horses and treats them with kindness. Her horsemanship is amazing to watch, she has such an amazing connection with horses and children. Racelh is amazing with my autistic son, brings a tear to my eyes, she’s just present with him and seems to just understand him. I couldn’t recommend Rachel highly enough!

Just over a week ago I attended my second clinic run by Jo and Rachel. To say that it was affirming, reassuring and thought provoking is an understatement. Rachel possesses all the knowledge and attributes that can really change the way we perceive the world, increase our self confidence and give us that much desired control over our own thoughts. I will definitely be returning to these clinics on a regular basis to continue improving my outlook on every aspect of life and to feel these deeply sought after connections with horses. I will recommend these clinics to any equestrian I come into contact with, they are simply one of a kind. I am so glad I came across them

Where do I start Rachel is absolutely incredible in her line of work helping better my inner self helping me have greater relationship with both my horses. I lost my confidence mixture of a pretty bad fall and lacking confidence in myself. Which led me to lack motivation lack confidence in my own abilities and my horses ability. Having two horses with two totally opposite personalities made training difficult at times. But thank you to Rachael I’ve learnt to embrace the above through attending how to train your dragon clinic with Joanna Lowes and Rachael where we first met. ... Rachael recently visited the yard which she work with both me and my sister with both of our horses. Very impressed and she kept both us and the horses very busy with activities ground work and ridden work and ground work better both our horsemanship and widening our horses skills set also.

I never thought my new horse would load onto a trailer, it took 4 hours with sedation to get him to me, he was truly scared, Rachel within minutes worked him out, with her tickle stick and natural calm manor, she gives positive advice, with the ground work she showed me and homework, Dougie was loading after three sessions, we now go everywhere with no problems. I thought I would be trapped at my yard unable to join in with friends and attend shows and clinics. I can't thank Rachel enough. She is a genuine kind, calming, person who is truly in tune and passionate about horses and helping owners. The main thing that stood out for me was I was adament he had to load walking on in a straight line, as he always would pull to stand to the side of the trailer and look in, Rachel said let him load from the side of course he can load form the side if thats where he's happy, he can jump from a stand still so he can came on from the side of the ramp, he still loads this way and is happy. Anyone who manages to get a visit from Rachel will only get a positive outcome.
